To demonstrate Billington's and Vauxhall's commitment to the environment purchase one of Vauxhall's lowest emission cars listed in the table below and Vauxhall will scrap your older and higher emission vehicle in an environmentally friendly manner and offer you up to £1000 to take it off the road.

How it Works - Ecoflex Scrap Allowance

1. Check that your vehicle is eligible for the scrap allowance offer :

          A passenger vehicle with a maximum of 9 seats or commercial vehicle with a maximum weight
          of 3.5 Tonnes.
          All significant componants such as engine, chassis, bodywork, catalytic converter, wheels and
          electronic control unit (ECU) are present in the vehicle.
          There is no waste in the vehicle.
          Must be legal to be driven on the highway.

2. Purchase one of the eligible models.

3. Supply a Vehicle Registration Document and valid MOT certificate for the vehicle to be scrapped.

4. You must be and have been the registered owner of the vehicle prior to 31st March 2008.

5. Recieve up to £1000 if you agree to scrap your vehicle.

6. Vauxhall will then dispose of the vehicle in an environmentally friendly manner.

Eligibility

Offer applies to Private Individuals and Small Businesses 1-24 (purchase only excl. B2B), Vauxhall Partners, Military and Diplomatic (UK only), Retail Affinity, Pack Sales and Vauxhall Internet Pricing (V.I.P.).
To qualify for this offer, a customer must purchase one of the eligible models, trade in a vehicle and agree to scrap the vehicle. The trade in vehicle must have been registered in the name of the customer prior to 31/03/08.
Vehicle must be able to be driven on the highway. At the time of the new vehicle customer order, the trade in vehicle for scrappage must have a valid MOT. The customer must supply a vehicle registration document (V5C) and a valid MOT certificate to the retailer for the trade in vehicle. Vauxhall will ensure the vehicle is scrapped under the end of life vehicle directive (2000/53/EG) and a Certificate of Destruction will be held by the retailer. If the customer agrees to scrap the vehicle a total of £1000 will be paid for the vehicle, irrespective of its current market value.

Offer is available for orders placed between 3 October 2008 and 2 December 2008 inclusive, subject to availability. Offer applies to the trade in and agreement to scrap of one vehicle only.
